Although some of the works in our Contemporary Program go back as far as the 60s, they are not presented as historical curiosities. Unlike the technology used in their creation (which has long since been rendered obsolete by newer developments), these works do not loose their value over time. We don’t subscribe to the idea that phrases for describing technologies, such as cutting edge and state of art can be applied to aesthetic activities.
